Kyle and Saijia had a fusion Afghan and American wedding at the beautiful Inn at Boltwood in Amherst, MA.

This was the first time I had been to create Inn at Boltwood wedding photos and I was so happy to. I loved the charm of the inn and the intimate space for their family to enjoy dinner, dance, and share some awesome Afghan dance performances!

The couple shared an intimate dinner with ten of their closest family and friends.

The whole wedding and dance performances were streamed via FaceTime! I love technology and how it can bring people together.

Some of my favorite moments are family moments

I loved seeing Saijia interact with her sister. There were some touching moments as the two girls grasped the iphone and spoke with her parents that were streaming from Afghanistan.

Technology brings families together!

There are so many reasons why sometimes, flying just isn’t possible for family members. With the help of Facetime, Zoom, and Google Hangouts. Many family members can be present digitally, and feel like they’re there! I can only imagine how much family love there is there. Technology brings us all together and makes us feel so much closer!

K & S, thank you for letting me document your day.

Here are more photos of small weddings that I’ve photographed.
