Meet Our Team

Every member of our team is grateful beyond measure to be a photographer, storyteller,  and cheerleader for our clients. We are honored to witness and document life’s most important moments and there is nothing else we would rather do.

From proposals to weddings to family portraits, we bring our hearts to every event and deliver seamless customer service along with extraordinary photography.

Nicole Chan

I still cry at weddings, and I love them so much. I come from a background in painting and have a love for the cello. My current passions include escape games, hacking travel points, and enjoying omakase dining experiences.

Karen Lane

I’m a theater enthusiast, enjoying both behind-the-scenes production and watching performances. Despite the lively chaos of living with a toddler, we embrace and add to that chaos by traveling internationally as much as possible.

Masao Okano

As a husband and father of three, I am passionate about capturing our family’s moments and adventures. I enjoy soccer and strategy board games, and our family tradition is to celebrate the first 90-degree day of the year with ice cream from our local shop.

Jason Loeb

I grew up in Hong Kong. I am a pilot, certified skydiver, and rescue diver. I have several dozen coffee machines, but my wife does not drink coffee, so she thinks all they do is take up too much counter space in our kitchen. She also thinks my hundreds of rolls of expired 120 film is taking up too much space in our refrigerator.

Gabriel Ortiz

Gabriel Ortiz

My passion for the arts led me to earn a degree in Visual Communications and I’ve enjoyed everything from Public Arts to Digital Design. I strongly believe that green grapes are superior to red grapes.

.

Sam Nessenthaler

I’m the gear guy of the team. I pursued studies in Electronics Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, and Photojournalism. I am passionate about technology, unique pieces of gear, and every facet of filmmaking and photography.

Giving Back

To do more for the world, than the world does for you. That is success” -Henry Ford

It is gratitude that inspires us to give back, and makes us approach every person and every event with the reverence and joy they deserve.

We’re passionate about racial equality and inclusion and amplifying the voices of marginalized communities. We support organizations that provide help for Autism Spectrum Disorder and support female-owned small businesses with scholarships and mentoring.

Our team has donated over $500,000 in in-kind photo & video services to both international and local non-profits including:

  • Amego, Inc Amego provides resources at home, school, and work for people living with autism and other developmental disabilities. My brother is on the Autism Spectrum, and I know first hand how important Amego Inc is to him and our larger community. Good people doing great work like this will always have support..
  • Kiva – As a female entrepreneur,  I support other women on the journey through Kiva, a non-profit organization that enables money lending to low-income and underserved entrepreneurs and students in over 70 countries.
  • MARE – Taking photographs and films of children in the Massachusetts Adoption Resource Exchange program to help them find their forever homes is a labor of love that is very dear to our hearts.
  • Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep – I am a volunteer photographer with NILMDTS, an organization that specializes in remembrance photography to parents suffering after the loss of their child.
  • Women’s Lunch Place – We support this women-only day shelter in Boston and their mission to help women get back on their feet.We never take our success for granted and know that some people just need a helping hand to get ahead.
