There are a lot of elements that can align to make a Boston Tented wedding at The Villa at Ridder Country Club spectacular. Donaveil and Paul had many obvious things like perfect weather, minimal traffic, an amazing wedding photographer, etc. However, there are some lesser noticed things that I think should be mentioned that made today special. For several years, the two have been through a lot together – both ups and down – everything from animals to academics.
She told me about their first date at Tuscan Kitchen and shared that he said his mother is an incredible cook. Unfortunately, Tuscan Kitchen didn’t live up to his standards, but fortunately, Donna’s charisma peaked his interest.
Donaveil says, “He’s is some kind of wonderful”.
The two were married at City Hall so this Boston Tented wedding at The Villa at Ridder Country Club was just a formality, but it didn’t make it any less special. Donaveil and Paul said their vows, exchanged their rings, and celebrated with their closest family and friends.
Hollywood glam and Q-Tip!
Donaveil and Paul’s wedding started at the Presidential suite and the Quincy Marriott. She had a sultry dramatic smoky eye, while her girls were styled in beautiful old Hollywood glam waves, bright red lips, and black sexy velvet wrap gowns. Donaveil hadn’t spoken to Paul that morning except to remind him to feed the animals, their the two dogs and cat. Their brown pit bull has one of my favorite names I’ve ever heard: Q-Tip.
The two come from different backgrounds,
but the two cultures, Filipino and Italian, have major similarities: a love for amazing food, family importance, and a lot of personality.
The beautiful outdoor ceremony at the Villa was accompanied by a strong quartet. I’ve been taking cello lessons for 6 weeks now, and was very moved by how beautiful the four played together!
Their reception kicked off with a mashed potato bar!
After dinner, there were six different cupcake flavors as well a late night burger and fries snack bar!
Their Lady of Honor and Best Man spoke about how the two made each other better.
There was an especially endearing moment during the mother and son dance, when even I got a little bit teary.
Donaveil and Paul, congratulations. You two are a beautiful fit for one another, and I wish you both the best.
