Endicott Estate is an elegant wedding venue with 18 acres of rolling lawns located on pristine land in Dedham, Massachusetts. With less than 10 miles from Boston, it’s a great location for your destination or local wedding event.

RICH HISTORY

Dedham’s Endicott Mansion has been a symbol of the town for more than one hundred years. The mansion was built in 1904 and named after Henry Bradford Endicott, founder of the shoe company that bears his name. In 1967 it became part of Dedham when he willed it to them upon his death.

You can take your time for a full course meal of delicious food in their Ballroom. There is also plenty of room for dancing beneath its high ceilings. Capacity

With three stories and 25 rooms, this mansion is the perfect setting for weddings of all sizes. The open floor plans make use of bright space to create a stunning environment. This indoor venue can accommodate up to 150 guests for seated ceremony reception or 200 people as cocktail parties.

OUTDOOR ESTATE WEDDINGS

The Endicott Estate is a beautiful venue for weddings, but many people overlook the hidden gem of the property. For those couples who are looking for an outdoor wedding with tons of greenery and natural beauty, this is your perfect venue! The venue has plenty to offer including ponds, gardens, meadows, and woods. You can have all day or just a few hours depending on if you’re having an intimate ceremony or an elaborate reception. 

This tranquil garden is the perfect place for couples to celebrate their special day. The grounds are beautifully manicured with majestic elm, spruce, and weeping willow trees lining them throughout all corners of this location. Couples can expect a refined ambiance when they choose this locale in which to host their event.

The estate has a fantastic outdoor ceremony space. You can hold the ceremony under their weeping willow tree, on its portico, or their large gazebo! If you want to go completely outside you can hold it under a large tent, as well for seating and dancing. I would personally recommend holding it al fresco style because there’s so much room.

Capacity

An outdoor wedding at Endicott Estate will truly be a blast with the grounds being able to accommodate as many as 500 guests, may it be for your ceremony or cocktail reception! 

AMENITIES AND SERVICES

Let the Endicott Estate host your big day! This venue includes tons of amenities, some being get-ready rooms for you and all your bridesmaids to prep in, tables with chairs set up (with table cloths if preferred). The staff is experienced at wedding planning expertly guiding you through each step—so don’t worry about a thing but enjoying yourself during this special time! They can also be in charge of event rentals and vendor referrals. Renting the venue gives you access to an incredible party space, with lighting and a dance floor. The peak season runs from May through December, giving you lots of dates to choose from!

Catering is not handled by the venue, so you can get creative by choosing a licensed caterer to your liking!

ACCESSIBILITY

Apart from this, the venue provides on-site parking and the whole place is wheelchair accessible and has a wireless internet connection. Endicott Estate is ready to accommodate any wedding guest for your wedding!

RESTRICTIONS

To keep the celebration merry and for everyone to go home with only good memories, the venue also has restrictions in place. Decorations must be approved by the venue, meaning no rice, birdseed, confetti, etc. Amplified music is allowed both for a wedding party indoors and outdoors but must end by 11:30 PM. No open flames in the whole estate and smoking are allowed in designated areas only. 

WEDDING FEES

Rentals range from $1,200 to $3,800 for a ceremony and reception. The 5-hour rental fee does not include the time it takes to set up or clean up after your event. Outdoor ceremonies require tent rentals that can be arranged upon inquiry with the venue coordinator for an additional charge of about $500/hr. TRANSPORTATION

The estate is located just 20 minutes away from Logan Airport and if you don’t have your private car, you can always ride a taxi to arrive at the place. Lyft and Uber options are also there.

WHAT I LOVE ABOUT ENDICOTT ESTATE

The Endicott Estate in Dedham is a wedding venue that makes me feel like I’ve been transported to another place and time. 

This beautiful 25 room Colonial Revival mansion has beautiful details – 11 Italian marble fireplaces, rich colored wood paneling, classic oriental carpeting. The layout of the home is open, free-flowing, and feels like it was designed for entertaining.

Nestled in a residential neighborhood, the grounds are filled with beautiful trees and offer many options for an outdoor ceremony within walking distance.

The upstairs bedrooms provide a perfect place for a bride or a groom to get ready on the day of, complete with private bathrooms in each other the large bedrooms.

Also, their clam chowder is delicious.
