DEWEY FAMILY GALLERY AND SCULPTURE TERRACE

Dewey Family Gallery and Sculpture Terrace is a stunning venue for your wedding. It’s located in the heart of downtown Winfield, Kansas, with easy access to all of the area’s attractions. The venue is large enough to host an elegant reception for up to 200 guests, or it can be divided into smaller sections for a smaller wedding and event.

Both daytime and nighttime events can be held in this combination of indoor and outdoor space overlooks the picturesque Flint’s Pond.  Guests can enjoy cocktails the stunning views from the outdoor Sculpture Terrace, which is located just outside the Museum and provides easy access to other areas of the sculpture park. Dinner and after party dancing in Dewey Gallery. The Sculpture Terrace can also be used a venue for ceremony.

The venue offers indoor space as well as outdoor spaces that can be used year-round. The indoor spaces include:

– A Great Hall with a stone wall around it that opens onto a courtyard

– A Dewey Family Gallery featuring paintings by artists such as Monet and Van Gogh

– A Ballroom with a chandelier hanging over it which can be used for your reception and event.

Venue capacity: 140 pax for dinner & dancing, 170 pax for dinner or luncheon (no dancing), 200 pax for theater-style seating ceremony, and 200 pax for standing reception.

RAPPAPORT ROOF TERRACE

The Rappaport Terrace is an ideal location for a cocktail reception and passed hors d’oeuvres. It is situated on the 6th floor of the Museum and has easy access via elevator. The Rappaport Roof Terrace can be reserved in conjunction with other areas in the Sculpture Park or Museum and is typically only available for evening events.

The venue has three different wedding options to choose from, including the Grand Hall, the Grand Hall with Rustic or Modern Decorations and the Garden Terrace.

The Rappaport Roof Terrace is perfect for any type of wedding; whether it be an elegant affair or a more laid-back celebration. The garden terrace offers expansive views of downtown Silver Spring and the surrounding area. The event space has been renovated to make it look more like a traditional indoor venue than an outdoor garden terrace. And because it’s so close to downtown Silver Spring, it’s easy to get around during your wedding day event. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby if you need anything during your event!

DENORMANDIE LIBRARY

The Denormandie Library is a stunning venue that is perfect for small weddings, conferences, and private parties. This wonderful place is located on the 4th floor of the Museum. The building features an elegant stone facade and elaborately carved windows, giving it the look of a castle or cathedral. Its interior is just as impressive—the library has seven floors, all of them featuring stunning views of the city your guests will surely love.

Decordova Sculpture Park and Museum requires a 50% non-refundable deposit of the estimated total fee. Plus, a $1,000 refundable security deposit is also required.

Yes, but a $1,000 fee will be added to the venue fee for alternative caterers and is subject to approval by the venue. The client is also required to present the caterer’s operating license and insurance record.
