Artists for Humanity Wedding
What I love most about an Artists for Humanity wedding is that the money your spending to host your event will directly benefit a non-profit that is dedicated to the arts for Boston youth that otherwise would not have these opportunities.
Artists for Humanity (AFH, https://www.afhboston.org/event-venue) is a non-profit organization based in Boston, Massachusetts that provides paid employment in art and design to underserved urban youth. The Artists for Humanity directly supports empowering young Boston teens through art and design to bridge economic, racial, and social divides in Boston. They get those talented teen artists employed for them to be able to flourish their skills and use it for the long run.
Artists for Humanity, a uniquely innovative space, was founded in 1991 by Susan Rodgerson. It began as a small program in her personal South End art studio, offering six local youth participants after-school arts and business opportunities.
Rodgerson is a firm believer in equipping young people with creative and artistic abilities. She understands that this helps them develop transferable skills that they will use for the rest of their lives. Her emphasis on creativity is particularly important in light of the racial, economic, and social divides that are frequently observed in arts education. Giving these students access to art and design opens doors for them in school, the workforce, and their communities.
AFH is open from Monday-Friday, 10AM-6PM. Feel free to contact AFH at +1 617-268-7620.

Reviews and Testimonies from wedding couples at Artists For Humanity
“We had an amazing wedding at AFH – all of our guests raved that it was an amazing venue. The perfect canvas and the art makes it unique and more interesting. They contact at AFH, Rich, was very kind and easy to work with. They do have an exclusive caterer that you have to use and they are pricey. But the food is amazing and worth it. I was able to achieve my dream wedding in which Artists for Humanity Epicenter played host in.”
“Could not have asked for a more perfect space for our wedding. The space is large and industrial, leaving it to be a blank canvas for whatever you are looking for. The high ceilings also have the supports to hang lighting/swings/decor. We used the space to have a cocktail style – all night- reception and it was perfect. We created various seating areas as well as some lounges. The mezzanine that overlooks the main floor also allows for extra space that the guests can use. There is also a staircase from the mezzanine to the main floor that leads to the garage door if you are looking for a dramatic entrance. Could not have picked a more perfect events held in Artists for Humanity Epicenter!”
