Interviews are usually very professional matters, or at least I imagine so for a grown-up serious industry concentration like internal medicine.  For Paras and Andy, the two-day interview was the platform where they knew they were supposed to talk to everyone, but ended up only talking to each other.  With some savvy techie work, Andy found her e-mail stuck up conversation about her name and connected over his familarity with Iranian culture. Andy’s two closest friends are Iranian.  He even participated in an Iranian dance group!  Though Paras first mentioned that he’s a bit shy dancing in front of her, I heard that they had considered dancing together at their wedding and I crossed my fingers for almost the entire week, hoping that it would happen – because it was something I really really really wanted to see!  🙂

Paras and Andy’s wedding reflected them perfectly.  It was filled with energetic dancing, lots of laughter, big beaming smiles, and some incredibly heartfelt speeches from their dads.
