Special Features of the Flashpoint 10′ C-Stand Traveler Kit:

Upgraded Locking Mechanism

With its specially designed sure locking mechanism, the C Stand series is perfect for those who need a sturdy and reliable stand. The legs are designed with a locking mechanism that ensures they are in place and won’t slip any time you use them. The legs also swing easily and can be set up then folded flat, so it takes less room on your balcony or patio!

The legs can be set at any angle to suit your preferences while still breaking out of fixed tips found in classic stands that might not have as many features or movement options!

Turtle Base

With a low center of gravity, this base is perfect for providing stability when using gear that produces an off-axis vibration. The balancing action prevents tilting or flipping even with saddlebag-style sandbags securing it in place!

Curved Leg Design

The C-Stands have a unique leg design that makes them strong and allows for nesting and stacking. The lower part of the stand can be tucked away when they’re not in use or if you want more storage space!

Multipurpose Rod Arm

The kit’s extension gobo rod arm slips into the aluminum 3″ grip heads, supporting light modifiers and other items like scrims or flags. This 5/8″ diameter tool can be used as either a short boom for still life sets but is most helpful on set ups where you need something to hold reflectors close by while filming.

Other Notable Features of the Flashpoint 10′ C-Stand Traveler Kit

The heavy-duty cast aluminum head design features interlocking facing surfaces to keep it fixed when supporting accessories on the steel arm in one of its four 3/4″, 5/8″, 3/-1, and 1-inch diameter channels.

The jaws open to 1-1/8″ so you can hold rods, dowels, and studs.

The channel disks pivot about the center tightening handle and are grooved to friction hold firmly. When used atop light stands, it attaches via a 5/8″ baby pin receiver hole with a choice of two places on the length for the tightening grip handle, taking best advantage of shorter studs on standard light stands or the included 5.5″ longer baby pin ends on Century Stands

Advantages of the Flashpoint 10′ C-Stand Traveler Kit

The Flashpoint 10′ C-Stand Traveler Kit is compatible with a wide array of strobe lights.

The accessory kit with the Flashpoint 10: Stand includes a baby pin, which slides into the three available grip heads and allows you to attach any standard strobe. The stand works with brands like Godox, Profoto, etc.

The Flashpoint 10 C- Stand is a must-have for any photographer looking to create that perfect photo shoot. As long as you have strobes that mount perfectly on a regular light stand, it will also fit with the sturdy Flashpoint 10 C-Stand!

Added Stability

The C stands are an excellent option for stability when you have an entire strobe and modifier rig on one shelf. The first thing that will catch your eye is how heavy they feel compared to regular light stands, but this weight comes with extra benefits! Given the importance of the Flashpoint 10′ C-Stands, the traveling hard case is a must, given how it can store the C stands perfectly!

You’ll be surprised how sturdy the C stand is compared to other light supports. Every photographer who has tried it always buys one or two more! Even if you use this as an established straightforward photography setup, with no grip arm attached, it will still offer significantly greater stability than most standard stands.

Super Tight Grip!

The Flashpoint 10′ C-Stand

is a heavy-duty light stand with an elastic grip handle that likes to be tightened. I can’t tell you how often this has saved me from getting my strobe in the correct position by cranking down on its grip! If your hands aren’t strong enough, try using vice grips or pliers before giving up altogether because there’s no other option when dealing with lights at high volumes like ours.

A Versatile Light Stand

If you’re a photographer looking for a versatile and affordable C-stand, the Flashpoint 10′ C-Stand is worth considering. This stand is straightforward to set up and can be used for various purposes, from holding lights or reflectors to acting as a camera Steadicam, and you can also use it to keep fabrics and props! Plus, it comes with a carry case, so you can easily take it wherever you go. If you’re on the market for a new C-stand, the Flashpoint 10′ C-Stand is worth checking out!

Probably the most cost-effective Light Stand

This C- Stand is a steal! I have been looking for something affordable, and this came through. It’s just as strong, durable, or even better than some of the more expensive ones I’ve bought in past years from other companies. I love how you can get such a fantastic product at such a low price, so now there will be no excuses when it’s time to retake photos because we’re all set with our stand.

Disadvantages of the Flashpoint C-Stand Traveler Kit

Limited Color Options

Regarding light stands, photographers have a limited range of color options. You may be out of luck if you want something stylish that matches your photography studio’s look. Another photographer may also opt for colors that aren’t too reflective when shooting at outdoor locations. But to be honest, it’s a minor negative compared to all the other capabilities that the Flashpoint 10′ C-Stand offers

Needs a sandbag

As a photographer, you know the importance of keeping your equipment safe and stable. When it comes to using light stands, one way to do this is by using sandbags. However, while sandbags can be an effective way to weigh down your light stands, you can’t deny that this is an added cost for equipment. But then, it’s better to be safe with sandbags than risk your strobes falling over and buying new ones.

Grips may be too Tight for Others

How tight the grips hold may be an advantage and a disadvantage depending on the photographer who uses it. While some prefer a tight grip to ensure that it would have their strobes, it may be hard to adjust.

Verdict

The Flashpoint 10′ C-stand has been a life-changing tool for me. I can’t believe how much easier it is to get your shots when shooting on location or in a studio. If the price tag seems steep at first, know that over time this one piece will save money and frustration due to its durability–you won’t need any other support but only a few couples of sandbags if needed while working through thousands of photos.

I’m always excited to hear from photographers who the C-light stand has converted. Please feel free to reach out and let me know about your experience!
