Boston Minimony wedding ceremony on Cambridge Rooftop
Wedding champagne gif! I am so proud of myself. This is the first gif! 🙂
Jen and Paul opted for an intimate Boston minimony wedding with just the two of them, their 10 year old dog, Nara, and their parents. We kicked off the day at their beautiful Cambridge hotel rooftop, where they exchanged romantic vows.
Paul’s father officiates Jen and Paul’s Cambridge, MA rooftop wedding ceremony minimonyAfter the Boston rooftop minimony, Jen and Paul take a moment to bow to their parents in respect and appreciation, a Chinese wedding custom. After the Boston minimony ceremony, Paul turned on some music and the newly weds shared in their first dance! I hope that you two never stop dancing together!Parents joined in on the fun, too! After the Boston rooftop minimony wedding, we went downstairs to Jen and Paul’s apartment. It was beautiful decorated with red Chinese wedding decor. The theme of Chinese wedding themes is a character that means “double happiness”. Sometimes, I see the characters hung upside down, which means that the happiness is pouring into the household! We popped some wedding champagne! Each one of Jen and Paul’s parents made a toast to Jen and Paul. They even played recordings and videos from their phone from family members that wanted to wish them well.I love classic black and white photos. After the Boston minimony, we went to MIT campus to take some portraits. This is where Paul graduated from undergrad!
I love how special these small intimate weddings are. Though the pandemic has affected all in some way or another, I’m so glad that Jen and Paul were able to celebrate in style!
