Julie and Yimi’s Boston Harbor Hotel wedding warms my heart when I think about them. When I spoke to Julie, she seemed so excited about everything – fun wedding guests, epic portraits, and drinking a beer/wine/whiskey during her wedding. My most absolute favorite moment from their day was their first look. Even I teared up a little! ?
Let’s zoom back to their proposal. Yimi had been planning his proposal at City Hall in Philly for three weeks. He had wanted to hire a guitarist to play a song for her, John Legend’s All of me. She knew that he was the one, but she didn’t know he had the ring yet.
The two love activities and adventures together – snowboarding and skiing, hanging out at bars, going to concerts, and even road trips! Their mini honeymoon will be skiing in the Poconos. Previously, she’s taken him to a Charlottesville winery for his birthday. He’s taken her for a champagne helicopter ride over Philly. The two hope to learn how to scuba dive together soon. Julie and Yimi, when you do, please make sure you hit up the SS Thistlegorm. It’s the best dive. EVER. ?
Congratulations on your Boston Harbor Hotel wedding. It was absolutely stunning and I’m so glad to have been there to photograph you and your families!
