Imagine this, you are attending “Preview Week” at MIT and as you’re in line for a crepe, you notice someone, also standing in line.
This is the beginning of forever for Hannah and Corey.
Four guests attended their Boston Esplanade Minimony!
I am so happy that the two of them trusted me to document their Boston Esplanade Wedding. With only four guests in attendance.
Mother Nature was certainly on their side with brilliant oranges and yellows for the fall foliage for their Boston Esplanade Minimony!
Hannah did her own makeup at for her Boston minimony wedding at the Liberty HotelHer friend helped her with her stylish short wedding veil.We caught a beautiful photo right in the Liberty Hotel as we waited for their four guests to walk down the hall from the hotel room.I loved the light as Corey and Hannah walked through the front doors of the Boston Liberty HotelTheir friend from New York drove down to officiate their Boston minimony! I loved her energy and enthusiasm! A big concern for Hannah and Corey was that New Yorkers would not be allowed to cross in Massachusetts. I’m so glad that didn’t happen! Here’s what I’ve noticed about Boston minimony wedding ceremonies: There is a dramatic uptick in personal vows. I think it’s because couples know that only their handful of guests will be there to hear them. And so, they feel a little more comfortable saying personal vows. Major plus, in my book!I jumped to get these photos of the leave because I loved the orange colors!Isn’t Hannah stunning! For her Boston minimony, she did her own makeup, selected a veil from Twigs and Honey, and rocked a stunning olive wedding dress.Boston doesn’t have a gigantic skyline, but it does have a distinctive one! I love this Boston skyline wedding photo, and how her green wedding dress is a perfect complement to it!For the final photograph of the evening, I asked Hannah and Corey to sit and watch the sunset. I knew they loved the colors, and wanted a big photo to capture the brilliance of the fall colors on the Boston esplanade.Long time blog readers, my friends, and former clients know me to climb trees, lay on the ground, stop traffic, and contort my body to get the perfect shot. This is a new one. I’ve never stood in so much goose poop. This is where I stood to get the photo of Hannah and Corey with all of the orange trees surrounding them. I think it was 100% worth it!
