Sikh wedding at Belle Mer in Newport, Rhode Island

My heart goes out to those in relationships that frequently use the words:  “long distance”, “flights”, “airplanes”, and “timezones”.  My heart also goes out to those who are dog people, but that’s a completely different mood for a completely different conversation.

Neha and Jits first crossed paths in New York City – a romantic autumn business trip encounter.  Since that meeting, they’ve put in boatloads of effort toward overcoming a pretty large obstacle that separated them – the ocean.  With Neha in the States and Jits in London, both agree: “As they say some things are worth the effort and this has really been one of them!.”

Special thanks to Karen and Winnie for helping me photograph this three-day Indian wedding at Belle Mer in Newport, Rhode Island!  I loved the Sikh Indian ceremony and of course, all of the isanely fun dancing that followed that evening!
