Barn at Gibbet Hill wedding | Lexie & Jill

There are many things that add up to a beautiful wedding day. Voluminous hair, a stunningly long train, gorgeous lace, Spanish veils, and team of talented, collaborative, and kind-hearted vendors.

All of those things contributed to Lexie and Jill’s wedding day, but here are the things that really stood out to me – things that I’ll take to heart as I embrace being a mom and a wife.

Heartfelt vows that are equally thoughtful and intelligent, and truly living out those vows every day

Remembering the shape of my newborn child’s head forever, and hoping that it resembles an adorable fruit – like a coconut

Noticing the little things about my spouse that I love – like great eyebrows that resemble fast food logos

A strong network of incredible friends that are supportive and always have my back
