I communicate LOTS via e-mail with everyone, my friends, family, couples, families, etc. For some people, their “voice” can really be heard when they type. For this specific coolcat, it could definitely be heard and I fell in love with his personality right off the bat from his first e-mail.
“Your website is dope. I enjoyed the energy and ease of your writing, which shouldn’t be surprising coming from an English major who is marrying a Lit major, Ayinwi, on Labor Day of this year. She rocks and like you escaped the doldrum of discontent called life at the Big Four (KPMG!). I’m glad y’all got out. Portraiture over pivot tables any day of the week! Let’s talk… about your availability to shoot or chocolate. We heart chocolate. I’m talking travel to a chocolate farm in Ghana, small shops in Switzerland heart chocolate. Both conversations are welcome.” Best, Jeraul
